The AriJoe Productions Story
Following a successful career in broadcast television and marketing communications, Steve Besserman formed AriJoe Productions to realize his lifelong ambition of bringing his parents' Holocaust survival and love story to the screen. (Steve's mother is the "Ari" and his father is the "Joe.") The result was the award-winning documentary, Only A Number, which has been featured at film festivals, broadcast on PBS stations across the U.S., and is being used for Holocaust education.       Only A Number  can now be viewed below. A Patient/Caregiver Story

The Samsara Vision Patient Journey supports patients with Late-Stage Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) as they work with a team of health care professionals, including a retina specialist, corneal surgeon, occupational therapist and low vision specialist, to determine if they are candidates for the Implantable Miniature Telescope (IMT). The telescope implant is not a cure for Late-Stage AMD. At this most advanced stage of the disease, the macula itself is beyond repair. A Christmas Story

The Hope Loves Company Story

This heart-wrenching and heart-warming documentary tells the story of Jodi O'Donnell Ames and Hope Loves Company, the only non-profit organization specifically created to support the children and young adult family members of ALS patients. The documentary had its world premiere at the 2018 New Hope Film Festival and received two award nominations.
